PvE builds only. Pick your class: the first four tabs change with it, the rest apply to everyone. Yellow boxes mark places where guides disagree; the in-game tooltip wins.

Daevanion boards
The simple version
On every board, take the blue skill nodes for your core skills first, then orange stat nodes. A reset costs Kinah but refunds your crystals, so mistakes are cheap.
Blue nodes to take first ()
How it works
Each board is a 15×15 grid. You spend Daevanion points (Daevanion Crystals) to open a node next to one you already own.
Blue nodes = +1 level to a skill. This is how skills go past Lv 10.
Some guides also rank by rune colour: red (item level) first, then blue (skill levels), then green (other bonuses).
Boards by level
Lv 12Nezekan. Combat Speed and cooldown reduction nodes are strong here.
Lv 20Zikel.
Lv 30Vaizel.
Lv 40Triniel.
Lv 45Azphel. PvP stats only (PvP Damage Boost, Tolerance). For PvE, spend points on the first four boards instead.
Arcana Lv 45
Cards that add levels to random skills. Rarer cards hit more skills: Common 1, Rare 2, Legend 3, Unique 4. Keep cards that hit your main skill.
Soul Binding
Adds levels on gear. Weapons, shields and rings boost active skills; armor and accessories boost passives. A bind that pushes your main skill over a breakpoint beats a raw stat.
My progress:
The simple version
Type your current numbers. The cards below show your next goal for each. Saved in this browser, separately for each class.
Load automatically
Your level, item level, skills, stigmas and gear come from the official Character Info page. Abyss Points stay manual.
Shard pack prices: 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, 25,000 Abyss Points. Whether the price tier resets weekly isn't confirmed; check the shop.
Dungeon boss tips
The simple version
Watch the boss, not your hotbar. Step out of marked areas, save stagger skills for when the stagger bar opens, and let the tank turn the boss away from everyone.
Rules for every boss
Wind-up or ground marker = big hit coming. Move first, then attack again.
Stagger bar (green, above the HP bar): often locked until a set HP. When it unlocks, everyone uses stagger skills at once.
Stagger broken = boss knocked down. That is your burst window.
Wait for the whole party before pulling a final boss; some arenas lock late players out.
Many final bosses enrage after about 5 minutes.
Your job as
Krao Cave
Ultimate Berk (final): spin attack, don't stand in it. Hide behind rocks for the first two charges. The third charge one-shots the party unless the boss is dead or staggered; the stagger bar opens at 50%. Side bosses: Harcon's line attacks at 75% and 35%.
item level 700
Draupnir Cave
Transcendent Bakarma (final, hardest): at 75% and 35% it teleports people randomly, then a jump attack follows. Stay put, don't chase. Avoid poison circles (Saraswati) and stop hitting when Lakshmi's reflect shield is up. All three bosses pay about 3× the Kinah of the final only.
item level 700
Urugugu Canyon
Needs at least 2 players. Raur: when his voiceline plays, run far away. Urahum: slams leave damage patches, stay out. Divine Auldor (final): enrages after 5:00. Wait for everyone before Auldor's Sanctum.
item level 1,400
Vakron Sky Island
Place all 4 elemental orbs on the altars first. Tiere: poison; on her voiceline run toward her as a group. Thamon: petrify stones; attack only when the colour is green. Vakron: free rooted players fast and jump the waves (65%, 35%); in Lodestone Prison break the red rock. Enrage 5:00.
item level 1,400
Ferocious Horn Den
Kwapo: untargetable at 75% and 25%, leaves blue orbs that explode in rings. Totem room: use the bombs. Duanka: one player grabs the white orb so the party can kill the tethered adds; stay away from the centre on Soul Caller. Nuakum: one unmarked player blocks the clone; at 30% the centre orb must be destroyed or the party wipes.
item level 2,100
Fire Temple
No reliable boss guide found yet. Watch a clear video before your first run.
item level 2,100
Check before you go: boss names and HP thresholds differ between guides and patches. Aion 2 Maps and Game8 have the best diagrams.
Gear and stats
The simple version
While leveling, just wear the best drop. At 45, raise every piece evenly to +10 (safe), starting with amulet and belt. Keep good Manastones for gear you will keep.
Stat priority (, PvE)
Rarity sets the max enhance
Rarity
Max
Note
Common / Rare
+5
Replace soon.
Epic
+10
Fine while leveling.
Unique
+15
Safe to +10; a failed enhance breaks nothing.
Heroic
+20
Endgame.
Above +10 each step is a gamble (about 65% for +11). A fail costs stones and Kinah but the item stays at +10.
Raising item level
Each enhance level = +1 item level, so spread upgrades across pieces.
Amulet and belt give the biggest jumps: +10, then Substance Morph to raise rarity.
Manastones add stat lines and item level. Lost when you swap gear.
Wear gold gear; store orange gear for later transfer.
Kinah
Every enhance attempt costs Kinah, and costs climb fast.
You usually run out of Kinah before stones.
Reversing an upgrade does not refund Kinah, Manastones or Theostones.
Many players hold upgrade materials until 45.
Theostones mostly help weapon and guard; almost nothing in PvE.
Leveling 1 to 45
The simple version
Follow the yellow Episode quests. They give about 99% of Asmodian XP to 45. Stop only when an Ascension gauge blocks the story, then fill it with green side quests and sealed dungeons on your route. Do not grind mobs.
Asmodian route
Lv 1-9Ishalgen. Starter zone, just follow the story.
Lv 10+Altgard. You stay in this region until 45. It has 13 level-10 sealed dungeons (Elyos get 5), so use them.
Lv 17-21 Clear the green quests in Safe Haven, then go to Silent Hill for the story plus 4 sealed dungeons.
~Lv 22 First Ascension gate. Fill the gauge with greens and sealed dungeons.
~Lv 32 Second gate. Same again.
~Lv 45 Final gate, then the Level 45 tab.
Altgard spots guides mention: Dredgion Crash Site, Moslan Forest, Purifying Forest, Basfelt Ruins. Expect about 7 to 9 hours for a first character.
Pick up on the way
Sealed dungeons: Daevanion Crystals, Wisdom Stones and about 15,000 Kinah each.
Campsites: board points and enhance scrolls for belt and amulet.
Kibelisks: activate every one you pass.
Only do side content that sits on your route.
Don't fall behind
Equip obvious upgrades as they drop; don't hoard.
Spend skill points as soon as you get them (Skills tab order).
Check the stigma menu at 22, 27, 32 and 37.
Learn your dodge and movement keys before the first dungeon boss.
Lv 45 Max level. Azphel board, Arcana, Ascension Trial, Conquest, Transcendence. Aim for about 1,000 item level before endgame.
Habits that save time
Main quests cannot reach 45 alone; plan to fill gaps.
Group dungeons give more XP than solo grinding.
Buff food and scrolls last about 5 minutes: eat right before a boss.
What to do at level 45
The simple version
Your goal is item level: it decides which dungeons you can enter. Climb the ladder below one step at a time; each step's dungeons drop the gear for the next.
First steps after 45
Spiritforged weapon to +10
The story gives it (Unique). +10 is safe, so do it straight away.
Clear your home map and spend crystals
Finish leftover sealed dungeons and campsites; spend all Daevanion points.
Amulet and belt: +10, then Substance Morph
Biggest item level jump. Gets you to about 1,000.
Spiritforged Guard
Claim it and push toward 1,400.
Finish Ascension, then dungeons
Vakron Conquest for armor first, then the guard, for the 1,600 step.

The Abyss for PvE players
The simple version
The Abyss is open PvP, but you need it: it is the main Stigma Shard source. Go in, do Command Scroll quests (they are mob hunts, not PvP), buy shards and crystals, and avoid fights. From level 45 at about 1,000 item level.
Avoiding PvP
Quest near other Asmodians. Lone players are the easy targets.
If an Elyos group shows up, finish later. Your scroll quest does not expire on the spot.
Dying only costs rank points, which a PvE player does not need. Abyss Points are safe.
Skip Artifact Sieges unless you want to join; they are big PvP fights.
Time and points
About 7 hours per week per layer. Time is the limit, so don't idle inside.
Command Scroll quests: a mob hunt in a named area, 1,000 Abyss Points each. Most steady source.
Middle Reshanta scrolls pay more. Arena wins and Spacetime Rift quests also pay.
Regular ones for your first four boards. Skip Azphel crystals: that board is PvP only.
Abyssal Manastones, Soulstones
The only consumables worth buying.
Skip PvP gear, skins and wings (cosmetic or small stats), medals and other consumables.
Staying alive
Gear is not equalised. If someone much stronger dives you, leave.
Learn the flight routes. Flight circles refill flight power; running out mid-air is a common death.
Ranged classes and healers win big fights. Stay near your group.
For Abyss bosses, join a force (raid group). Contribution is only compared within your class.
:
Artifact Siege
Monday, Thursday and Saturday in Lower Reshanta. Three artifacts; each one your faction holds gives +2.5% Abyss Point gain (up to +7.5%). If a faction loses all artifacts on a layer, a Corridor opens at its base that only that faction can enter.
Making Kinah
The simple version
Spend Odyle Energy every day, clear Duty Missions and sweep sealed dungeons. That covers your upgrades. For Kinah you can trade, gather and sell on the Market.
Two kinds of Kinah
Bound KinahFrom quests, dungeons, missions. Pays for your own enhancing. Cannot be used on the Market.
Unbound KinahFrom selling to other players. The only kind the Market accepts.
Bound Kinah sources
Expeditions: best daily earner, about 70,000 per clear near item level 700.
Duty Missions: about 50,000 each.
Sealed dungeons: about 15,000 each, 81 per faction.
Fire Temple (2,100 item level): about 170,000 per fast clear.
Never sit at the Odyle cap: it stops refilling and that time is lost.
Unbound Kinah (Market)
Gather gem nodes: Rubies, Sapphires, Diamonds sell well to crafters.
Odyle materials are worth about 4× others at each grade.
Upgrade recipes can't be listed, so don't craft them to sell.
Crowded gathering routes lose value fast; check Market prices first.
Market and membership
Most guides say the Market needs the paid membership (about $15 per month) and a level 45 character. Two guides say free players can sell but not buy.
Direct player-to-player trading is off on Global, with or without membership.
The Market takes about 8% of each sale.
Without membership, bound Kinah from content still covers your own upgrades.
Numbers are rough. Payouts differ between guides and change with patches. The Market's membership rule is disputed: check the in-game Market window. Never buy Kinah from sellers: it is a common ban reason.
Life skills
The simple version
Pick one craft that makes something you need (your weapon or armor), level gathering alongside it, and add Handicrafting (accessories) later. Don't spread across all of them.
The crafts
Blacksmithing
Weapons. A good first pick: your weapon is your biggest upgrade.
Armorsmithing
Armor pieces.
Handicrafting
Accessories. The usual second craft.
Alchemy
Potions and consumables.
Cooking
Buff food. Cheap materials and steady demand.
Gathering / Essence Extraction
Feeds every craft. Level it naturally while questing.
Leveling tips
Craft one at a time, not 10x batches: ten single crafts give more proficiency XP than one 10x craft.
Higher proficiency means fewer failed crafts, so finish one profession before starting another.
Pick up gathering nodes on your quest route instead of grinding them later.
Decide what you want to make first, then pick the craft.
For Kinah
Gem nodes (Rubies, Sapphires, Diamonds) and Odyle materials sell best (Kinah tab).
Upgrade recipes can't be listed on the Market: don't craft them to sell.
Check Market prices before committing to a route.
Check in-game: guides disagree on the craft list (one lists 6 with Tailoring) and on whether crafting only unlocks at level 45.
Beginner mistakes
The simple version
Focus resources on a few things (your main skill, your first stigma, your weapon), don't overspend on gear you will replace, and never let entries or energy expire.
Spreading skill points
Put them in your core skills (Skills tab). Breakpoints at Lv 8 and 12 unlock specialty upgrades and extra slots.
Levelling every stigma
Shards are scarce. One stigma high beats four stigmas low.
Forgetting stigma slots
Some players hit 45 with one stigma. Check at 22, 27, 32, 37.
Over-enhancing early gear
Extracting old gear refunds the stones, but the Kinah is gone. Weapon first, the rest to +10 at most.
Opening Sugar Keys early
Guides say keep them until 45: early rewards are much worse.
Energy on the wrong content
At 45, spend Odyle Energy on Conquest, not Exploration: better rewards.
Letting things expire
Odyle at cap, Daily Dungeon pool, weekly entries on Wednesday. All lost.
Skipping side content
Sealed dungeons and campsites give board points and belt/amulet scrolls you need at 45.
Copying a pro build blindly
Learn your own timing first. Advanced rotations assume you know the fights.
Watching only your hotbar
Watch the boss animation and the floor. Moving out of attacks matters more than perfect rotation.
Buffs off after dying
Re-check stances, mantras and toggles every time you respawn or change zone.
Outside macros and bought Kinah
Both are ban reasons. Use the in-game macro system only.
What each activity is
The simple version
Daily: Duty Missions and a couple of Daily Dungeon runs. Weekly: use every Raid, Ascension Trial, Subjugation, Exploration and Abyss entry before Wednesday.
Scheduled events (your time)
Global schedule from aion2-data / Aion2 Atlas. Rift portals accept entries for 10 minutes, then you have 1 hour in enemy territory.
Duty Missions
5 per day, per account. Pick missions with Soul Crystals in the first reward slot (guaranteed), or Odyle Energy, Nightmare or Ascension tickets. Refresh the list for a little Kinah if it's bad, but not endlessly.
daily, Lv 45
Daily Dungeon
Weekly pool of entries. Run about 2 a day so it never piles up.
weekly pool
Expedition: Exploration
Regular party dungeons. 7 rewarded runs per dungeon per week.
from Lv 20
Conquest / Transcendence
Harder Expedition modes. Counters refill slowly, so you can bank a few days.
Lv 45
Ascension Trial
Solo, score-based. Six dungeons, six difficulties each; higher score, better rewards. 3 entries.
Lv 45, weekly
Nightmare
Solo boss ladder (26 bosses, 10 tiers each) paying Phantasmal Fragments.

Subjugation
Party dungeon for up to 4, for example Orcus's Grave. 3 tickets.

Raid
Large group boss content. Limited attempts.
weekly
Abyss (Reshanta)

Lv 45, weekly time
Odyle Energy
Activity energy. +15 every 3 hours, cap 560 (840 with membership). Spend before it caps.
